Property fire

Fire control received a call to a property at the above location to reports of a fire involving the electrical power lines coming into the property. 

Control immediately mobilised 3 fire appliances 2 from Taunton and 1 from Bridgwater along with a supporting officer. 

Once on scene crews confirmed the electrical cables to be on fire and requested Western Power to attend to isolate the mains supply. 

Crews investigated the property thoroughly externally and internally and were happy there was no fire spread affecting the building itself. 

Once Western Power were in attendance they isolated the mains supply allowing our crews to extinguish the fire using 1 hose reel jet. 

Forunately there was no damage to the property and duty of care was left with Western Power. 
The cause was determined as accidental.
