Fire Control received reports of a property fire in Bridwell Road, Plymouth. One fire appliance from Crownhill, Camels head and Greenbank were mobilised to the incident and upon arrival confirmed fire in first floor bedroom of semi detached property.
Fire crews used four breathing apparatus, one safety jet and positive pressure ventilation to extinguish the fire. The first floor bedroom was severely damaged by fire, remainder of the first floor was damaged by 20% heat and 60% damaged by smoke.
Two dogs were rescued by fire crews.
