One fire appliance from Torquay attended reports of a car on fire in the middle of Windsor Road.
On arrival the vehicle was well alight on the public highway and crews got to work using 2 breathing apparatus sets and 1 foam jet. Police were required to help with locating the owner, traffic control and recovery of the vehicle. The incident was believed to have been malicious and there was a further car fire nearby shortly afterwards which was out on arrival of the fire service. The incidents were left in the hands of the police.
