Property fire

Crews were sent to smoke seen coming from a roof of a property. Two breathing apparatus wearers with one hose reel jet was sent into the property to investigate and prevent escalation of the incident. A fire was located on the ground floor in the kitchen, and also involved 2 LPG cylinders. 

The cylinders were cooled with ground monitors and then removed from the building. Crews damped down the fire with hose reels and ventilated with positive pressure ventilation.

A total of 6 breathing apparatus, 3 hose reel jets and 3 thermal imaging cameras were used. The kitchen of the property was severely damaged in the fire. The cause was deemed as accidental.
