Parents road safety event Learn2Live

This event is targeted at parents of young adults who are newly qualified drivers, those learning to drive or passengers of new drivers. Young drivers are 50% more likely to crash in their first year, and around a quarter of all those killed or seriously injured, casualties resulted from collisions involving young people (RAC Foundation, 2016).

The panel will bring insight from an emergency services perspective; a discussion around the benef (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=lIOYl0if3JM)its of technology such as telematics and apps to aid young adults with their driving; advice on choosing driving instructors; as well as opportunities to hear from families and emergency service workers about their personal experiences.
