Property fire

Crews were sent to a report of a cooker on fire in a domestic property. On arrival crews confirmed a fire on the ground floor, and entered the property wearing breathing apparatus, with one hose reel jet. Crews then requested a further appliance from Torquay with a positive pressure ventilation fan, to clear the property of smoke.

The fire was extinguished in the kitchen, and crews confirmed the cause as accidental. The kitchen and cooker was damaged by the fire. Duty of care was left with the occupants.
