Two fire engines were mobilised following calls reporting a fire at a residential property. Upon arrival they requested a further two fire engines for personnel and equipment.
Throughout the incident crews used:
- Eight breathing apparatus
- Two hose reel jets
- One attack fog spike
- Two safety jets
- Four thermal image cameras
- Two multi gas detectors
- One triple extension ladder
- Two reciprocating saws
- Two positive pressure ventilation fans
- Small tools
Crews removed the fascia to check for fire spread in the flat roof and cavity wall.
25% of the building was damaged by fire and smoke and 50% was damaged by smoke only. The cause is yet to be determined.
