Fire Control received a call reporting a quarry bulldozer on fire in a quarry in Braunton.
Crew from Braunton and Barnstaple was mobilised alongside the water carrier from Barnstaple.
Crew got to work to extinguish the fire using 2x breathing apparatus, 1x compressed air foam supply branch, 1x hose reel jet and water from the water carrier. Unfortunately the bulldozer was severely damaged by fire, the cause of the fire was accidental.
