Three fire engines were mobilised following a number of calls reporting a fire, initially believed to be in one of the beach huts.
Upon arrival, crews confirmed that a catering hut unit was well alight.
Throughout the incident crews used:
- Four breathing apparatus
- One hose reel jet
- One compressed air foam branch
- Small tools
- Thermal image camera
The building was 100% damaged by fire. The cause is believed to be accidental.
