Fire control received a call reporting a roof on fire in a commercial property. Three fire engines and an aerial ladder platform were all sent. On arrival crews confirmed this was a barn conversion, being used as a commercial workshop. A further two fire engines were sent to assist in extinguishing the fire.
The fire was extinguished using:
- Hose reel jets
- Safety jet
- Thermal image cameras
- Power tools
There was 25 per cent fire damage to the roof and the cause of the fire was accidental.
