Fire Control received a call reporting a motorcycle on fire and mobilised one appliance from Greenbank, Plymouth.  Subsequent calls were received confirming that a property was becoming involved so a further two appliances were mobilised, a second from Greenbank and another from Camels Head, Plymouth.

On arrival at the incident crews confirmed that the fire had spread to the outside of the house and were ascertaining whether any persons were still inside the property.

Update at 06:15 - Motorcycle fire which has spread to a two storey building measuring 8 metres x 8 metres. All persons accounted for.

Update at 06:29 - Crews requested an Aerial Ladder Platform appliance to attend to expose the roof of the building, this was mobilised from Crownhill, Plymouth.

Update at 06:36 - Crews have been using positive pressure ventilation.

Update at 07:43 - Final details - One motorcycle well alight which spread to mid terraced two storey property measuring approximately 8 metres x 15 metres. Fire contained to the outside of property, one person self extricated from property. Crews used two breathing apparatus, one hose reel jet, one safety jet, thermal imaging camera and short extension ladder. Aerial ladder platform attended and cut away fascias of outside of building and confirmed no fire spread. The cause of the fire was believed to be deliberate.
