Property fire

Fire control received a call from the occupants of a property in the Luccombe area of Exmoor reporting that they had a chimney fire. 

Control immediately mobilised 1 fire appliance from Porlock.

Crews proceeded to incident and upon arrival requested a second appliance for extra personnel. This appliance was mobilised from Minehead.

Crews confirmed they were gaining access from the register plate to extinguish the fire. 

Final update - crews worked from the hearth using chimney gear and extinguished the fire. Crews on scene inspected loft space to check for any signs of fire spread or damage. The incident was handed back to the occupants of the property and crews returned back to stations.
