Fire Control mobilised a crew from Castle Cary to a report of a chimney on fire in the Bruton area.
Crew got to work from the hearth and successfully extinguished the fire using small tools, chimney gear and a thermal image camera. They confirmed that the fire was caused by a large amount of wood debris and sticks above the baffle plate.
