Crew Manager - Plymouth Response Group
Summary
The Service is currently recruiting for temporary Crew Managers at Crownhill Blue Watch & Greenbank Green Watch for up to 12 months and applications are invited from those interested in the role as either a lateral move or a promotion opportunity.
From 1 April, we have introduced development rates of pay for any new individuals moving into a development or an acting-up role. These pay rates are set out by the National Joint Council.

Applications are invited from suitably experienced and qualified Firefighters and Crew Managers. Eligible applicants will need to meet the following criteria as a minimum:
- Be a competent Firefighter
- In-date L1 ICS
- If applying as a promotion, or for On-Call staff, have been successful at a Leading Others assessment centre (if undertaken prior to April 2024) or all 3 elements of the Leading Others Assessment (if undertaken after April 2024) or ADC
- Have good leadership skills.
- Not subject to formal performance improvement actions, nor have any live disciplinary sanctions.
