Fire Control received a call from Ambulance requesting assistance at an incident.
2 fire engines and an Officer were sent to the location.
On arrival, crews confirmed this to be a 2 vehicle road traffic collision, with 1 person still within one of the vehicles.
Fire crews worked alongside Paramedics on scene to release the casualty from the vehicle using small tools. 2 other casualties were walking wounded and were free and clear of the vehicles on arrival.
Crews made both vehicles safe and handed over duty of care of scene to the Police.
