Property fire
Fire Control received multiple calls reporting smoke issuing from a property in Plymouth and immediately mobilised crew from Camels Head and Crownhill.
Shortly after booking in attendance at this incident, crews requested a further 2 fire engines and an Aerial Ladder Platform due to large flames and smoke issuing from 2x flats, these were mobilised from Crownhill and Greenbank.
At 08:32 - Crew are at work with 4x breathing apparatus, 2x hose reel jets, 2x safety jets and 2x covering jets. Fire is believed to have spread from first floor to second floor.
At 08:45 -Crew are at work with 6x breathing apparatus, 2x hose reel jets, 2x safety jets and 1x safety jet.
At 08:47 - Crew requested a further 2 fire appliances, they were mobilised from Plympton and Plymstock, alongside with the Welfare Unit from Ivybridge.
At 09:23 - Crew have confirmed that all persons for the effected properties are all accounted for. Crew are at work with 4x breathing apparatus.
At 10:20 - Fire in the first floor is confirmed out, crew are at dampening down with 2x hose reel jets and small tools.
At 10:26 - Crew have carried out checks in the adjacent properties with gas monitors.
Unfortunately the property sustained smoke, fire and water damage. The cause of the fire was accidental.
