Fire Control mobilised a fire engine from Wellington to a report of a vehicle on fire on the outskirts of Wiveliscombe.
Shortly after booking in attendance, crew confirmed that the vehicle was well alight and requested a second fire engine, this second fire engine was also mobilised from Wellington.
Crew successfully extinguished the fire using 1x hose reel jet and 2x breathing apparatus. Crews also used drain equipment to contain any fuel run off from the vehicle entering the water courses.
The cause of the fire was accidental.
