Fire Control received a request from Devon & Cornwall Police to assist at a single vehicle road traffic collision with persons still believed to be inside the vehicle. Two appliances from Barnstaple Fire Station were mobilised to attend.
On arrival at the incident crews confirmed that one car was involved with a total of four casualties, two of which were still inside the vehicle. Crews got to work with stabilisation equipment and attended to the casualties.
02:59 Final details were confirmed as a single vehicle road traffic collision involving four casualties, Fire Service extricated two of the casualties from within the vehicle. Stabilisation equipment and edraulic equipment was used to make the vehicle safe.
