Two fire engines were sent to a report of a double decker bus on fire in Plymouth. On arrival crews confirmed that there were no persons on the bus, other than the driver and that the bus was well alight. The fire was extinguished using:

  • Hose reel jet
  • Safety jet
  • 4 Breathing apparatus
  • Thermal image camera

The fire was confined to the engine compartment and the cause was accidental.
