Property fire

Fire control received multiple calls to a property alight on Bovemoors Lane, Exeter. 

Control initially mobilised 2 fire appliances from Danes Castle and Middlemoor alongside a supporting officer. Due to the number of calls control received, control mobilised a 3rd appliance from Danes Castle. 

Once crews were in attendance, a 4th appliance was requested for extra personnel. This was mobilised from Middlemoor. 

Crews confirmed 1 bungalow was well alight and crews were at work extinguishing the fire using 2 main jets and 2 hose reel jets and had a water shuttle in place.

Final details - Crews confirmed 1 bungalow was completely destroyed by fire. In total, 3 main jets, 2 hose reel jets, 1 thermal imaging camera and 1 triple extension ladder was used. Fire also partially spread to roof space of adjoining property. Currently the cause of the fire is unknown and will be determined following a joint investigation carried out by Police and Fire investigators.
