Property fire

Fire Control mobilised crews from Wincanton, Castle Cary and Yeovil to a report of a smell of smoke within an area of a home in Wincanton. However, Crew from Yeovil was not required and returned back to station. 

After booking in attendance, Crew got to work liaising with the responsible person of the property and carried out investigations, with alarms sounding in the Plant Room. After investigating, crew confirmed that this was a false alarm and the alarm panel was successfully reset by the responsible person. Crew remained on scene for a further 15 minutes as a precaution before returning to station.
