Fire control received a call reporting smoking coming from the back of a property at the above location. 3 fire engines were immediately mobilised along with a supporting officer.
Once in attendance, crews confirmed smoke issuing from the property and got to work with 4 breathing apparatus and 2 hose reel jets to extinguish the fire and search for any persons possibly within the building. Shortly after, crews confirmed that the fire was out and all persons were accounted for with nobody inside the property. In total, crews used:
- 6 breathing apparatus
- 2 hose reel jets
- 1 main jet
- 1 short extension ladder
- 2 thermal imaging cameras
- 1 gas monitor
- 1 ventilation fan
The fire caused 50% damage and smoke caused 100% damage to the property. Fire investigation is currently underway to determine the cause of the fire.
