Vehicle fire

Fire Control received multiple calls reporting a car on fire and mobilised one appliance from Crownhill. On arrival crews confirmed that one car was well alight. 

The final details were confirmed as one privately owned car on a public highway with a fire in the engine compartment which sustained 50% fire damage. Crews used two breathing apparatus, one hose reel jet, one thermal imaging camera, hydraulic equipment and an environmental pack to extinguish the fire which was believed to be accidental in origin.
