Property fire

Two Fire Engines were sent to a report of a neighbour who could hear a smoke alarm and smell smoke in a property in Yeovil. On arrival crews confirmed there was a fire in this property and forced entry. Crews extinguished the fire using:

• 2 Breathing apparatus
• 1 Hose reel jet
• Smoke clearance fan
• Thermal image camera

Fire crews rescued 2 dogs from the property. The cause of the fire was cooking left unattended. There was minimal fire damage to the property and 20 per cent smoke damage to the property.
