Fire Control mobilised an on-call crew from Williton to a report of a strong smell of gas in Watchet.
Upon arrival, crew confirmed the strong smell of gas in the area and got to work investigating the area and drains in the vicinity with a gas monitor. Crew also got work evacuating near by properties as a safety precaution, after the gas board got in attendance they were then informed that it was safe to re-enter their properties.
Gas leak was found in a neighbouring property and incident handed over to the gas engineer.
