Property fire

Fire control received a call to reports of a fire alarm sounding with smoke in the premises on Marina Drive, Brixham. Upon this information control mobilised 3 fire appliances.

Crews arrived and saw smoke and flames issuing from the building and quickly made up for another appliance shortly followed by requesting an ariel ladder platform and 2 more fire appliances to help tackle the fire. 

Crews are currently on scene and tackling the fire with 6 Breathing Apparatus, 2 hose reel jets, 2 safety jets, 1 covering jet, 3 thermal imaging cameras, small tools, and one triple extension ladder. 

The incident is ongoing. 

Update 06.45: This incident is now closed. The mid-terraced property was completely destroyed in the fire. Fire investigation will resume later this morning.
