Property fire

The fire service were called to a report of an Aga on fire within a domestic property in North Newton, Near Bridgwater.  Two fire engines from Bridgwater, one fire engine from Taunton and a supporting officer attended this incident.  

This was a two storey privately owned bungalow measuring 10 metres by 20 metres of brick construction.  Fire confined to the Aga within the kitchen.  Crews extinguished using two breathing apparatus, one hose reel jet and small tools.  A positive pressure fan was also used to clear smoke within the property.  The Aga was 30% damaged by fire.
