Fire Control received calls reporting a vehicle on fire and mobilised one appliance from Greenbank Fire Station.
On arrival crews confirmed that the vehicle was well alight.
The fire was dealt with using breathing apparatus, one hose reel and small tools, the engine compartment of the vehicle was severely damaged by fire which was believed to be deliberate in origin.
