A fire engine from Crewkerne was mobilised following a call reporting a vehicle on fire. Upon arrival the Incident Commander confirmed the vehicle was well alight. A message was received requesting a further fire engine be mobilised for water, as the fire had spread to nearby hedgerow.

Throughout the incident crews used:

  • One breathing apparatus.
  • One hose reel jet.
  • One compressed air foam jet.
  • A thermal image camera.

The vehicle was 100% damaged by fire. The cause is believed to be deliberate.
