Three Fire engines were sent to a report of a domestic property fire in Kenton, Devon. On arrival crews confirmed that smoke was issuing from the roof space of a single storey building. The fire was located in a ground floor bedroom, involving a dehumidifier and surrounding furniture. The fire was extinguished using:

  • 2 Breathing apparatus
  • 2 Hose reel jet
  • Smoke clearance fan
  • 1 Safety jet

The bedroom was 100 per cent damaged by smoke and fire, and the remainder of the property was 50 per cent damaged by smoke. The cause was accidental.
