Property fire
Fire Control received a call reporting a domestic property on fire with persons still within the property and mobilised crews from Crownhill and Greenbank Fire Stations.
On arrival crews confirmed that smoke was issuing from a first floor bedroom with a fire believed to be involving a television. It was confirmed that all persons were out of the building and crews got to work with two breathing apparatus and a hose reel jet.
Update at 21:25 Crews are working with four breathing apparatus and two hose reel jets and making steady progress. Ambulance requested to attend for one casualty.
Update at 22:01 Crews requested a further appliance to attend which was mobilised from Camels Head Fire Station. They were requested to assist with breathing apparatus for ventilation of the building.
Update at 22:17 Crews carrying out ventilation to clear building of smoke using four breathing apparatus.

Final details at 22:52 Building of two floors measuring approximately 17 metres x 10 metres consisting of privately rented flats. Fire involving television set in living room of a first floor flat the area was 10% damaged by fire and 100% damaged by smoke. Fire extinguished using four breathing apparatus, two hose reel jets, one safety jet and positive pressure ventilation for ventilation. Two casualties treated by Ambulance service. The cause of the fire was believed to be accidental.
