Property fire

Fire control were called to a report of a washing machine on fire. Two fire appliances from Barnstaple and one fire appliance from South Moulton were mobilised. Upon arrival crews confirmed a small fire involving one washing machine in the kitchen area.

Crews made efforts to isolate the electrics. The washing machine was 100% damaged by fire, and 10% smoke damage to the kitchen. Crews used two breathing apparatus, one hose reel jet, one attack jet and a thermal imaging camera.

This was accidental.
