Vehicle fire

2 appliances were sent to a 3 vehicle RTC where 2 of the cars were on fire. All persons were free and clear of the vehicles. Crews arrived on scene and got to work with breathing apparatus and 2 hose reel jets to put the fire out. Police were also on scene. Crews also used hydraulic spreaders and small tools to gain better access to the fire in the vehicles, and a thermal imaging camera.

Duty of care of the scene was left with the Police. Ambulance also attended to check over 1 casualty.
