Calls were received for a fire in the distance near Tiverton. One appliance was sent to investigate. On arrival, crews confirmed this was a cricket pavilion on fire, and requested an additional 3 pumps and a water bowser. The fire was fully developed, and crews got to work with hose reel jets.

On arrival of additional crews, firefighters began using 2 main jets. Cylinders were reported to be involved in the fire, so crews withdrew to a safe distance. 2 cylinders then exploded. Crews set up ground monitors to fight the fire defensively.

By 0850, crews reported they had removed gas cylinders from the ruins where safe to do so. Damping down was still taking place with 2 hose reel jets. Fire investigation had begun.

1037 the stop message was received. The pavilion was completely destroyed. 12 cylinders were removed from the building. The fire was deemed to be caused accidentally.

Crews revisited the scene later in the day to damp down any hot spots. These are the final details.
