Property fire
Fire appliances attended reports of a lawn on fire, which on arrival was spreading to the building. Crews requested assistance from a further 2 appliances, the water carrier and the aerial ladder platform. Crews then reported that the roof of the building was involved in fire, and were at work with 1 hose reel jet and 1 main jet, with 2 breathing apparatus wearers.
Crews then requested assistance from a further 2 appliances, and Police to close the road.
Crews later confirmed this is a detached property and outbuilding with 20% of the ground floor well alight, 10% of the first floor alight, and 5% of the roof alight. Also an external oil tank involved. Crews working with 2 main and 1 hose reel jets, and have requested isolation of overhead powerlines.
Crews then requested a further 2 appliances, making the total up to 7.
3 fire engines and a water carrier remain in attendance at this incident. The crews are removing roof tiles to expose any hot spots aswell as turning over and dampening down within the property using gas monitors and a hose reel jet.

The cause is believed to be accidental.
