Vehicle fire

Fire control received a high volume of calls for a vehicle fire on the A380 North bound this afternoon, in the area of Ashcombe Cross. 

On their arrival, fire crews confirmed that one van was fully involved in fire, resulting in 100% damage by fire. 

Two fire engines attended; one from Torquay and one from Newton Abbot. They used four breathing apparatus, compressed air foam systems, one hose reel jet and environmental pads to extinguish the fire.
