Property fire

Three Fire engines were sent to a report of smoke issuing from a property in Cullompton. On arrival crews confirmed that there was smoke issuing from this 2 storey domestic property.

Crews extinguished the fire using:

• 2 Breathing apparatus
• 1 Hose reel jet
• 1 Safety jet

The fire was located in the lounge and involved a sofa. There was 30 per cent fire damage to the lounge and 80 per cent smoke damage to the remainder of the property. The cause is under investigation.
