Property fire

Crews attended a domestic property fire at the above location.

Crews confirmed on arrival there is a fire in the upstairs bedroom caused by a television, and got to work with 2 breathing apparatus, 1 hose reel jet and a thermal imaging camera to extinguish the fire.

The fire was successfully dealt with within 10 minutes and crews started ventilation of the property, two occupiers are being treated for light smoke inhilation.

By 0236 the incident was successfully concluded and confirmed that the fire was limited to 5 percent damage to the room of origin and smoke damage for 70 percent of the room, also 5 percent smoke damage to the remainder of the first floor. All 4 family members were conveyed to hospital to be treated fo smoke inhilation.

This fire was believed to be caused accidentally.
