Road traffic collision

Two appliances from Barnstaple Fire Station with an Supervisory Officer were mobilised following a report from Devon & Cornwall Police of a road traffic collision with one person still inside the vehicle.

On arrival at the scene crew confirmed one small minibus had left the carriageway into a hedge and one person was trapped within the vehicle.

Crew released one casualty from the vehicle and now in the hands of West Country Ambulance Service, stabilisation equipment, small tools and a short extension ladder were used at the scene.
