Fire control received a call from Police requesting our attendance at a Road Traffic Collision on the A37 near Yeovil.
Control mobilised 2 fire engines from Yeovil and a supporting officer.
Once on scene, crews confirmed that 3 vehicles were involved in the collision with 1 person still within the vehicle. Crews were setting up equipment to prepare to extricate the person whilst liaising with Police on scene and awaiting ambulance to arrive.
Once the ambulance arrived and assessed the person within the vehicle, crews assisted the casualty out of the vehicle and handed them over to the ambulance.
