Property fire

Fire control received a call from a member of the public reporting their shed on fire just outside of Axminster. 

Control immediately mobilised Axminster and Seaton to attend. 

Once on scene crews sent back an assistance message of 'Make Pumps 3' the third appliance came from Colyton. 

Crews confirmed one large shed well alight measuring approximately 5 x 5 metres. The shed was in close proximity to other wooden outbuildings. Crews were at work using 2 x Breathing Apparatus and 2 x Hose Reel Jets. 

Crews then confirmed they were at work with 1 x Compressed Air Foam Branch to protect the surrounding buildings from any fire spread. 

At 20:44 crews confirmed the fire to be out and they were at work with 2 x Breathing Apparatus, 1 x Hose Reel Jet, a cieling hook and drag forks turning over and damping down the affected area. 

Unfortunately the fire completely damaged the outbuilding, following safety advice and a handover our crews were able to leave the scene.
