3 Fire engines, were sent to a report of a tumble dryer on fire, in a domestic property in Paignton. On arrival, crews confirmed that there was smoke issuing and immediately entered the property in breathing apparatus, to extinguish the fire, using 2 hose reel jets, a thermal image camera and a positive pressure fan.
The cause of the fire was accidental.
