Fire crews are in attendance in Cranbrook, currently dealing with an electric vehicle on fire.

Crews are asking anybody in close vicinity to keep their windows closed due to the large amount of smoke.

07:12 - 3x fire engines are in attendance along side 2 officers. Crew have confirmed that the vehicle is well alight which has unfortunately caused heat damage to an adjacent double garage. Crew are currently using 2x hose reel jets, 2x covering jets, 1x water wall and 2x breathing apparatus. 

07:57 - Crew have confirmed that the vehicle fire is now under control. Crews are currently using 2x breathing apparatus, 1x water wall, and 1x covering jet. 

08:12 - Crew have confirmed that breathing apparatus is now discontinued. Crews are at work using a post ventilation fan to clear gases in neighbouring properties.
