Property fire

Fire control received a call to reports of smoke issuing from a bedroom window of a 2 storey property. Control mobilised 2 fire engines and an officer to deal with the incident.

Upon arrival crews confirmed there was a fire in a first floor bedroom of a mid terraced property. All persons were accounted for and crews got to work with 2 breathing apparatus and 1 hose reel jet to tackle the fire. Once the fire was extinguished they used a positive pressure ventilation fan to clear the smoke from the property. the cause of the fire was deemed accidental and was a socially rented property
