Rescue
Fire Control received an emergency call from the Ambulance and Police requesting our assistance with rescuing a casualty that had fallen down a bank in Ivybridge.
Control immediately mobilised an appliance from Ivybridge, Technical Rescue Team from Camels Head and 2x officers.
Once in attendance, crew confirmed that the casualty had fallen approximately 15ft from some decking. Ambulance and Fire & Rescue crew assessed the casualty to formulate a rescue plan.
Paramedics have now administered medical treatment and a rescue plan has been formulated, cordons are now in place around this incident and a joint emergency services meeting has also taken place.
Fire Crews have managed to successfully rescue the casualty at approximately 16:11 and they are now in the care of the Ambulance Service.
