Fire Control received reports of a fire in the loft space of a residential property. Control mobilised three fire engines and an aerial ladder platform to the incident, and on arrival crews confirmed smoke issuing from the roof. Further assistance was soon requested and Fire Control mobilised a further fire engine.
Crews used the following equipment to extinguish the fire:
- Four breathing apparatus
- One hose reel jet
- Two thermal imaging cameras
- Two gas monitors
- Triple extension ladder
- Small tools
Crews have confirmed this was a fire in a building measuring 15m X 20m consisting of four floors. The loft area obtained 10% fire damage and 10% smoke damage.
The cause of the fire is believed to be accidental. These are the final details.
