The Fire Service received multiple calls for an agricultural telehandler on fire just off Doniford Road, Near Watchet. One fire engine from Williton and one fire engine from Bridgwater attended this incident. On arrival crews confirmed the telehandler was well alight and got to work setting up equipment in order to extinguish it.
Final details .. One large agricultural telehandler extinguished using compressed air foam, hose reel jets, two breathing apparatus and small tools. Also crews extinguished half an acre of barley stubble and two straw bales. The cause of the fire was accidental.
