Property fire
Fire Control received a call from a farmer reporting a fire involving one of their agricultural outbuildings.
Control immediately mobilised, Middlemoor, Danes Castle, a water bowser from Danes Castle and 2 supporting officers.
Whilst en route to the incident crews spotted a large plume of smoke in the distance and immediately 'made pumps 4' for additional personnel and water.
Once in attendance crews confirmed 1 Barn approximately 40x30 metres well alight and were at work using 1 x 51mm attack jet and 2 x Hose Reel Jets.
Western Power have been in attendance at the incident to isolate the electricity supply to the barn, however they have now left scene.
Crews used 2 jets, 2 hose reel jets, 1 thermal imaging camera and 1 triple extension ladder to extinguish the agricultural building which was 70% damaged by fire, one puppy was rescued by Fire Service personnel.
The cause of the fire was believed to be accidental.
