Fire control received a call this morning to report a fire in a barn.
Control mobilised two pumps, one from Bideford and one from Appledore alongside a water bowser from Barnstaple to attend.
On arrival, the incident commander quickly asked for 2 further fire engines which were mobilised from Bideford and Barnstaple.
Crews got to work using four Breathing Apparatus, two Main Jets, two thermal imaging cameras and small tools to tackle the fire.
A short while after crews confirmed BA to be discontinued and the fire to now be out.
The barn suffered 20 percent smoke damage and 20 percent fire damage, this fire was believed to be caused accidentally.
A revisit has been scheduled for Appledore to attend later today.
