Workshop factory

Fire Control received several calls reporting a fire within a workshop in the village of Petrockstowe. The fire involved a single storey workshop measuring 10m x 8m. Three Gas cylinders were removed from the workshop to prevent escalation and 2 Breathing Apparatus wearers used one hose reel jet and two 45mm jets. Other equipment in use during the incident was lighting and small tools. Crews dampened down from a safe distance and carried out a re visit later in the evening.

80% of the building and contents were damaged, there was also some heat and smoke damage too. The cause is believed to be accidental.
